EFFECT:

The magician explains his love for this TV series and displays a collection of themed props: a Springfield Herald newspaper (giant size), a Springfield Travel Agency brochure with a World Map, a set of unique cartoon-style Driver’s Licenses of famous celebrities and a special Desk Calendar.

You present the Springfield Herald, showing some news with pictures of famous predictions made by the TV series, getting laughs while clearly establishing the premise.

Five spectators then make seemingly free choices: a card, a date, a country, a celebrity and an animal, each selection is made using clever, purpose-built methods and props.

You announce that The Simpsons predicted even this new, random historic event. The newspaper is unrolled to reveal the giant headline:

·       The date: September 26th

·       A pink elephant floating on a cloud

·       France with the Eiffel Tower

·       Tom Cruise filming a movie

·       A jumbo playing card hold by Tom

The chosen card is revealed as the Five of Hearts, but the spectator selected the Four of Hearts. No problem! The magician hits the poster and the center heart drops dramatically to the floor, revealing the Four of Hearts printed on the headline. (Inspired by the famous and memorable trick Jumbo Sidekick)

But wait there is more! When the magician says this was predicted by the Simpsons, it was really predicted! Now for the big finale, the magician projects a 25 seconds video of The Simpsons showing all the selections predicted exactly as chosen.

This stunning climax can be shown on: Big projection screens / LED Screen / TV Screen / CCTV / Tablets, laptops, smartphones or even at social media.
